{"id":76,"date":"2022-01-10T16:23:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-10T06:23:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/test391261973.wordpress.com\/?page_id=76"},"modified":"2025-03-03T20:50:10","modified_gmt":"2025-03-03T10:50:10","slug":"telehealth","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ciin.net.au\/medical\/telehealth\/","title":{"rendered":"Telehealth Consultations"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"requirements-for-telehealth\">Requirements for Telehealth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>NB: Not all conditions are suitable for Telehealth and generally face-to-face appointments are preferred<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Dr Ciin uses FaceTime for Telehealth consultations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>You must be seated in a quiet place with a good internet connection for the consultation. You must not be driving.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have FaceTime installed and enabled on your phone, Dr Ciin will make a video FaceTime to your phone at approximately the time of your appointment. If you do not have FaceTime installed, Dr Ciin will email you a link to join the FaceTime consultation when the consultation starts. The link can be opened on most devices with camera, microphone and speakers (Medicare requirement).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"449\" height=\"268\" src=\"https:\/\/ciin.net.au\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Facetime.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-182\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ciin.net.au\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Facetime.jpg 449w, https:\/\/ciin.net.au\/medical\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Facetime-300x179.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 449px) 100vw, 449px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"telehealth-process\">Telehealth Process<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Well in advance of your appointment<\/em>, you need to make sure that you have&nbsp;<em><strong>suitable equipment<\/strong><\/em>&nbsp;(see above) for the consultation. &nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do have FaceTime on your phone, make sure that Dr Ciin&#8217;s rooms have been supplied with the email address to forward the link for the consultation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shortly before the appointment ensure that your device is turned on.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Around the start of the appointment Dr Ciin will call you or email you a link. Please be aware that sometimes this may be a few minutes late. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any scripts or radiology\/pathology referrals will be emailed\/posted to you after the consultation.&nbsp;Scripts must be posted as an original is required.
